Instantaneous fatal heart attacks and their connection to lack of magnesium in the body. That’s the talk in our neck of the woods lately with so many sudden deaths due to 1st heart attacks.
For the last few days, I’ve been researching the possibility that lack of magnesium in the body is connected to first time heart attacks that result in instant death – and my findings are very alarming.
I had read that in some of my research ages ago – but was on another mission on that day and just never got back to it.
Recent unexpected deaths by two of our very close friends – have made me wonder about the low magnesium connection now and I’m on it!
Low Magnesium – Fatal Heart Attack Connection
After reading this once before – I asked my own cardiologist if this was true – “If low magnesium could cause a heart attack that resulted in instant death.” He said “YES!!!” He said in the unexpected and first heart attacks we hear of that result in instant death – low magnesium is often the culprit.” I said “Well WHY are patients not TOLD this by their DOCTORS?” He didn’t have an answer for that – but I trust him and he talks openly and freely with me on many of my research projects. He calls me a quack! I call him a doctor who ‘practices’ medicine. 🙂
He has also told me in speaking about blocked arteries and other heart issues – that simply walking 30 minutes a day – will open up and build new arteries and make the blood flow more freely. He said for those who are not at risk of sudden death from already almost totally clogged arteries – walking and diet are by far – the safest route to take in turning that around. But he said “Most people just won’t DO the diet and exercise routine even if they say they will.” And HE is a well known cardiologist that we trust with our lives.
Symptoms of Low Magnesium
Many everyday aches and pains are a sign that we’re low in magnesium. Migraines, high blood pressure, fibromyalgia, insomnia, leg cramps or muscle spasms, PMS, menstrual cramps, constipation, chronic fatigue, anxiety and so much more. Magnesium will also help to prevent Type 2 Diabetes. If you’ve been told you’re borderline – it will keep you from going on over the top, so to speak. And if we’re not taking in added magnesium it would sure be a good idea to do so.
Homemade Magnesium Oil – and this is as good as any you would buy
You can even make your own magnesium oil at home. You would need:
1 cup of distilled or purified water and that needs to be boiled in a stainless steel, ceramic or glass container.
Turn off the burner after it starts boiling and add 1/4 cup of magnesium chloride.
Stir to dissolve the magnesium and let it cool and then refrigerate.
It’s unsure how long this will last. Some say up to 6 months. Some say you should make it fresh every week or two. But you can be the judge on that. Just keep an eye on it as you use it. It should easily last 2 weeks in the frig.
THEN you just rub it on each arm and the bottoms of your feet at night before you go to bed.
Magnesium oil is a good choice because our body absorbs magnesium better through the skin than it does internally – like with pills.
Some Foods That Supply Magnesium
Magnesium is just absolutely crucial to our survival. And we all need to be supplementing with it at least a bit.
You will also get added magnesium by eating lots of leafy greens and it’s in almonds, avocados, pumpkin seeds, yogurt, black beans, figs, bananas.
So SEE we could make the homemade magnesium oil for pennies and eat a couple of these foods daily and we’d be good to go.
I believe we were all given bodies by God that will heal themselves or stay healthy IF we give our bodies the nutrients it needs and steer clear of so much junk food. We really are what we surround ourselves with. And we have the choice every single day to treat our bodies in the way that they will stay healthy … or to treat our bodies in a way that will invite sickness.
I truly believe the state of our HEART HEALTH is up to us!
I absolutely DO believe we can prevent heart disease and keep ourselves pretty healthy for decades and beyond.
I believe if it sneaks up on us because we were slacking in our diet and lifestyle – that we can turn it around.
I believe we can improve our heart and artery health greatly with the right diet and supplements. Read more about Heart Health

Good reminders that I really needed. It’s so easy to let things go like just taking 20-30 minutes for a walk, but it’s such a small amount of time needed that is beneficial to our health.

Hi Kay, I just came across your blog as I was on FB and saw a post about magnesium and heart disease. Praise God I found your site. I was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation in the summer and underwent an ablation last month. I was also recently diagnosed with borderline diabetes. Plus, I experience headaches almost every single day and have to take Tylenol to get through the day. I am not happy about being on heart meds, but believing for complete healing and standing on God’s word.
I am very interested in learning the natural remedies to treat conditions, so your article on magnesium caught my eye.
Could I sign up for your newsletter? Or, FB friend me so I can keep up with your writings on health and wellness?
Thank you and God Bless you as you continue to spread the word on God’s natural remedies for healthy living. Sincerely, Judy Cucolo

Judy – I’m in a rush right now … but I’ll go see if I can find you real quick and send a friends request. I’d like to have you on the blog fb page and also my personal fb page as I share things on both outside the blog.
I’ve studied holistic health and healing since 1977. I’m 69 and the daughter of a baptist preacher. Daddy had a stroke 4 years ago while out visiting the elderly – at age 87 🙂 He passed 2 years later from complication from the stroke. I just LOVE helping people. And I’d love to help you if I can or at least be available for you to read …
We personally use the magnesium I’m about to give you a link to. I rub this on the bottom’s of our feet at night. We actually absorb magnesium better through our skin than thru vitamins, etc. SO that’s what we do. Here’s our amazon link if you’d like to order this. I’ve given several bottles of this away to friends and family. I’ll get back with you later and I’ll try to find you right now and send a friends request … PLEASE comment on my personal page any time .. blog page too … and always feel free to ask any questions any time… more later Kay
Here’s that magnesium oil … and just a little spritzed on your hands and rubbed onto the bottoms of your feet. Our whole family does this now
