WHY do we get sick? Do you ever wonder about that? Seems like there’s so much sickness around us and it seems like some families have so much more sickness than others – even frivolous things like colds and flu one right after the other.
I’m a firm believe in the statement that “We are what we eat!” But it goes so much further than just what we eat – it has just as much to do with how we digest those foods.
There is No Magic Pill or Magical Diet
Everybody is looking for the magic pill or the magical diet that will give them more energy and just make them feel and look tons better in general. When in fact, having those things will come as simple as changing what you are putting first in your refrigerators and freezers and cabinets and then in your bodies.
Our bodies are literally over loaded with toxins. And some of those toxins develop inside our bodies because we are not digesting the foods we’re eating and they’re just going down our goozle and laying there in our gut and rotting away – wreaking havoc on every organ in our body – day after day.
How To Know If You Have Toxins in Your Body
SO how do we KNOW if we have a toxic body? If you’re eating – which we all have to do – and not on a clean green diet – you have too many toxins in your body to be healthy. That’s just all there is to it.
1 – Do you eat fast food? Do you use artificial sweeteners? Do you drink water other than fresh spring water? Do you eat commercial meat and chickens from the grocery? Do you eat foods that contain preservatives? Do you drink soft drinks and eat candies and other processed snack foods?
2 – OK – now are you constantly tired? Do you have aches and pains that you just can’t explain or get rid of? Do you have less than good vision? Do you have brain fog? Do you have diarrhea or constipation? Do you have less than perfect skin, hair and natural nails? Do you take prescription meds for ‘anything’?
And Here’s Your Answer
The answer to your problems is so very simple. If you said yes to most of the things in #1 – THAT is the reason you had to say yes to most of the things in #2. PLAIN AND SIMPLE and NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!!
Every bite of food we put into our mouths and every sip of every liquid we drink – has either a positive or negative affect on the cells in our bodies. Each one of those bites of food or sips of drink are either going to nourish your cells or they’re going to cause a little damage. ALL OF THAT DAMAGE even in bites and sips … mounts UP.
Aging and degeneration of our bodies has little to do with the number of the years we have lived. It has everything to do with how we have lived those years and what foods and liquids we have put in our bodies and the lifestyles we have lived.
Dangers of Processed Foods
The dangers of processed foods and the toxins we take in daily are in the news every single day. Haven’t you ever wondered where those toxins GO once we put them in our bodies?
Dr Bruce Bond a specialist in nutrition and the way the body works – says
“Our bodies only have 3 options when additives, chemicals and toxins are put into our bodies:
The body can bury those toxins in body fat or
it can deposit those toxins in our tissues OR
it can eliminate them.
Problems with elimination ARE – way too many of us have elimination problems TOO and THAT IS ALSO because of our diet.
How Does Disease Start?
Dr Bond says that diseases start with a poor digestion and goes on to cause a sluggish liver. That sluggish liver causes poor elimination and that causes a weakened immune system. SO what happens when we have a weakened immune system? Our bodies can be attacked and ravaged by any of the horrific diseases out there. So don’t you see? It’s just a vicious cycle that begins with what we put in our mouths.
SO if you are always having colds or the flu or headaches or indigestion or other tummy problems. If your diet is bad or even if you are hit and miss like sadly “I” am. WE ARE ALL walking time bombs with bodies just inviting disease.
We’ll continue tomorrow with Why Do We Get Sick – Part 2. This is SUCH crucial information! WE CAN be healthy and energetic way into our senior years. But we first must learn the right things to do for our bodies and then DO them. It’s just that simple.
