The Evils of Sugar and How it Relates to Pancreatic Cancer is really on my mind lately. Now pancreatic cancer is one scary little devil.
I only know of one doctor in the whole country who has had success turning pancreatic cancer around and that’s Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez in New York City.
His procedure is so experimental … he isn’t even expensive … but he does it mainly with … get this … JUICING! And a few supplements.
Now, he’s not just having his patients juice, there’s more to it, but it IS “all natural.” And he still loses many patients … or probably most. But he does save a few … and that’s the key word here.
When no other doctor in the country has any success at turning around ANY of their pancreatic cancer patients … and you have one that has turned around “a few” … where ya gonna head? “I” am heading for New York City and plop myself right down in front of him and say, “OK … I’m ready to do whatever is necessary to be the 12th (?) patient you’ve cured of pancreatic cancer. But it wouldn’t be easy … that’s for doggone sure.
The Evils of Sugar
Sugar has absolutely no nutritional value. It just tastes good! But it’s like a sneaky poison … in fact, it depletes our bodies of any of the B vitamins and B vitamins are so crucial for emotional stability and energy.
The B Vitamins are our brain food. They’re good for better memory, concentration and quick thinking. One of the worst culprits of an over intake of sugar is “brain fog” … you know … where all these things are just on the tip of your tongue … but you can’t spit them out. Or you know you know something like the back of your hand … but for the life of you … you can’t remember it. That’s brain fog! And that’s the first and biggest thing I noticed when Billy and I went on that 3 week experiment that time. My brain fog lifted almost immediately … and it was wonderful to be able to put sentences together without sounding like someone with early Alzheimer’s Disease …
Sugar makes our blood thick and sticky … it makes our digestive systems acidic … and disease just grows much faster in an acidic body. Sugar also depletes our potassium and magnesium which are both so crucial for heart health. Excess sugar goes right to the liver and the liver can only hold so much … so when it gets too full … it swells up … giving us a sluggish liver – not good!!! If you see someone with lots of skin blemishes … or a bloated tummy … they no doubt have a sluggish liver. A glass of water first thing in the morning with half a fresh lemon squeezed in it is SO good for the liver!
Over consumption of sugar can cause panic attacks, mood changes, dizziness, headache, depression, temper outbursts, nausea … my goodness, how much more do we need to know about sugar to know it’s deadly!
It’s like I tell our daughter about smoking … think of it as poison. And think to yourself … “Ok, how much arsenic/poison am I going to injest today?” NONE would be the right answer.
And let me just say quickly (YES … I CAN SAY SOME THINGS QUICKLY!!!) :-/ “Artificial sweeteners are just as bad if not worse than real sugar.” They have been linked to brain tumors, Alzheimer’s, retina deterioration, hypoglycemia …
Beth told me once of a friend that was sent to Louisville because they thought she had a brain tumor … and it turned out she was having a reaction to artificial sweetener. And don’t let the ads fool ya … Splenda is just as deadly as any of the others …
We just need to learn to cut WAY back … make junk food a treat instead of a daily/regular thing … and eat healthier.
Sugar and Pancreatic Cancer
I’m not really surprised sugar is linked to pancreatic cancer … The pancreas has the job of stabilizing the amount of sugar in our bodies. The more sugar we eat/drink, the harder the pancreas has to work … the harder the pancreas has to work, the more wear and tear it is “on the pancreas.” AND, the weaker the pancreas gets, the more likely it is to let cancer cells come to life in the pancreas.
It just stands to reason … that we should all back off on sugar BIG TIME, let our liver re-juvenate – which in turn will rejuvenate the pancreas – and walla! Hopefully, no pancreatic cancer will develop.
Plus, if we’d back off on sugar and drink one or two glasses of carrot juice a day with a handful of spinach also added, we’d be doing our bodies a huge HUGE favor! They say if you eat/drink lots of sugar and are also a smoker, your chances of pancreatic cancer increase about 87% … OH MY GOODNESS!!! Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to put 2 and 2 together on that one …
