We’re going to talk about healing our bodies naturally, starting with our own PH balance. Did you know that all diseases have one common cause and that if we correct that one cause there is very little chance we’ll be getting sick?
It’s very easy to correct that one problem that causes all of these horrific diseases and the problem is called “PH Imbalance” … We can literally ‘heal our bodies naturally and fairly quickly by balancing our own PH balance.
What is PH Balance?
Well in technical terms, which are a bunch of jibberish to most of us, me included – It’s the measurement of hydrogen ion concentration in the body. Say WHAT?
But now in Granny Goose talk like “I” use it’s the measure of acidity and alkalinity in the body – how’s that? Much more simple, huh? NOW we just need to know about acidity and alkalinity, so here we go!
Now when I first learned of PH Balance decades ago, the first thing I did was confront Dr Patel about it and ask him if conventional medicine knew about this and if it was true. He said “Now yes, on that you are correct. Whether or not you have a acidic or alkaline body will usually determine whether or not you get sick.” So I said “Then why are you not holding classes in this so folks will know. Because I’ve studied natural healing since 1977 and this is the first I’ve heard of it.” (and this was back in the late 1990s)
He didn’t have an answer! But I’ve learned through my studies just why doctors don’t promote nutrition – they have a pill for everything. There’s no money in nutrition for them. If we’re buying spinach and carrots at the farmer’s market – that isn’t going to benefit the conventional doctor in any way. But they get a big commission off of all the prescriptions they write/sell.
We’ve all heard of acid reflux and acid tummies and heart burn and tummy gas, right?
Well an acidic body goes so much farther than that!
Our body is in a constant battle to keep our PH balance in check because a good strong alkaline body is crucial to good health.
Any natural healing book you read will tell you that disease cannot survive in an alkaline body! Now doesn’t that make having an alkaline body sound crucial?
Too much acid will weaken every cell in the body!
Most digestive problems are signs of excess acid, we just kind of know that … But did you know too much acid will cause heart disease? Diabetes? CANCER?
When we take in too many acidic foods, our body responds by lining the arteries with a fatty plaque to prevent life threatening leaks and that puts a strain on the heart because the blood just can’t flow freely in those plaque filled arteries.
The blood is just trying to crawl through and it’s saying “Ugh – this is a MESS in here … scoot … ugga … scoot … ugga … scoot! And it’s supposed to be hopping along like Peter Cottontail and saying – “Hoppity Hop Hop … Hoppity Hop Hop … I LOVE hopping through this clean and beautiful artery! SUCH an easy path to meander down. The blood says, “I think I even hear little blue birdies singing Zippity Doo Dah as we hop and skip along this artery – OH YAH!!!”
Too much acid affects the immune system and makes our bodies a breeding ground for disease. It’s like those big all inclusive resorts people love to go to. Bad foods that are so acidic move down the goozle and they say “YIPPEE This is the PERFECT place for us to retire! But there’s so many of us acidic foods down here this resort probably won’t be around long … it’s going to get all run down from too much garbage and go kaput!”
YOU ARE THEIR RESORT IN LALA LAND and too many acidic foods are going to do you in one way or the other!!!
When the body is overrun with acid – it’s oxygen is also slowed down to a crawl. This means it can’t get to all the cells in the body quick enough. ALL of our cells need a constant and free flow of oxygen to work properly.A little germ entering the body is no big deal, even if it brings it’s whole family with it for a family reunion IF your body is balanced properly and leans strongly towards a good alkaline balance.
Just a few of the things that an imbalance of PH can cause are:
Cardiovascular damage
Weight gain
Bladder and kidney conditions
Immune deficiency
Hormonal problems
Premature aging
Osteoporosis
Low energy and chronic fatigue
Digestion problems
Yeast and fungal overgrowth
And a HOST of very serious problems including cancer.
So okie dokie now…everybody that wants one of the above…raise your hand!
And the thing is….they’re so easy to avoid if we will just take the steps we need to …to avoid them.
Acidic Foods
chocolate – OH NO!
white flour
sugar
milk – WHAT??? Yes 🙁
ice cream
soft drinks
coffee
some fruits and veggies
tea
white bread
cheese
pork
Alkaline Foods
asparagus
onions
spinach
broccoli
blueberries
grapes
okra
squash
almonds
sweet potatoes
most green veggies
kiwi
apples
bananas
And you can do a search online to find more of each so you can balance your own diet.
We can check our PH Balance today in our own homes. All you need is the little package of PH test strips …
You take a little strip of that paper and you must wait one hour after eating to get a correct reading. And you just pull up saliva in your mouth and touch the strip to that saliva. Just like in the photo below. The litmus paper is a bright yellow … and the more alkaline your body is … the darker greenish that paper will turn within seconds. If it stays yellow … get on a good diet ASAP and back off on acidic foods and add more alkaline foods, NOW. Because if it’s yellow – you are a walking time bomb and so many of us will test yellow. But then – so many of us are SICK.
SO you check your PH and see where you are starting from and add the right kinds of foods to make you more alkaline if needed. THEN all you have to do is stay out of traffic … don’t get run down by a pickup truck while crossing the street or shot pumping gas at the station or in a mall somewhere, or get on the wrong
ship with a big hole in it and sharks circling it … or ……. :-0
But you get my point – right?
WE CAN adjust and control the health of our bodies by the foods we eat. Everything I study says disease cannot survive in an alkaline body … and YOU can research this yourself … you don’t have to always wait to see what “I” have to say or take ‘my’ word for anything – I’m no rocket scientist and don’t claim to be. I’m a health nut researcher and you can be the same.
So don’t we all want to have more alkaline bodies?
If you drink soft drinks all day, or tea or coffee … you’re in trouble :-0
If you live on ice cream and sugar and white bread … you’re in trouble :-0
If you eat pretty healthy and munch on almonds and blueberries and carrots 🙂 aaahhhhhhh, then you’ve got a good barrier up against disease getting a grip on your body.
Now WHO wouldn’t want THAT?
But if you’ll adjust your diet to healthier foods that are alkaline … you can be making plans for a good long life in LaLa Land. Now WE need to do this TOO!
When I tell you how to do things better … I’m usually reminding myself too … because I know how to live and what to do to be healthy … it’s just getting to it!
