To Flush Arteries of Plaque: Diet and Exercise
It almost sounds too simple to say, just eat the right foods and walk 30 minutes a day at a brisk pace and we’ll be able to flush that old hardened plaque right out of our arteries and add years of vim and vigor to our lives. By golly – sign me up!
Who among us hasn’t been told by our ever lovin’ doctors that we are walkin’ time bombs and if we don’t take this cholesterol drug or that one we’re headin’ for the heart cath table or possibly even the funeral home?
A Word From My Own Cardiologist
My own cardiologist told me 2-3 years ago that we can build our own by-passes and they would be just as good as having stints put in.
Then I remembered all my training that tells me that our bodies have the ability to heal themselves if we give our body the nutrients it needs to do just that.
So I wondered besides walking … if there are foods that just naturally flush plaque slowly out of our arteries … and turns out … I found many websites that say there are.

Now I KNOW what they say about the internet – that it doesn’t matter what you’re looking for. You can find the answer that suits your fancy on the internet. It may be right and it may be wrong – but you’ll find websites that are going to tell you – just exactly – what you want to hear. But I hope I’m a little smarter than that. And I hope I can see around propaganda for this and that. I read yesterday on several reputable sites, that there are non invasive methods for reducing arterial plaque. And according to a study done at the University of Montpellier – juicing the right veggies can not only prevent plaque build up – but it can reverse it.
All you need is a juicer, purple grapes, carrots, apples, pomegranates. Now ‘me’? I don’t see why we can’t use Welch’s 100% pure grape juice – because can you imagine how many grapes it would take to make one 8 oz glass of grape juice. And I’ve read some amazing stories about the benefits of 100% pure Welch’s Grape Juice. Enough articles shouting it’s benefits that it’s won me over.
You are to drink the grape juice early in the morning … 30 minutes before you have anything else. That 30 minutes allows the juice to absorb deep into your system and start doing its good deeds.
About 30 minutes before lunch … juice 3 apples and drink that down….wait at least 4 hours after the grape juice.
Then 1/2 hour before supper … juice 4 large carrots.
Later in the evening … about 8 or 9pm … juice 2 pomegranates and that should be the last thing you consume that day. Those 2 pomegranates are supposed to be working magic as you sleep.
Well wouldn’t it be just grand, if this program worked. Who’s going to give it a try?
I guess that job falls in my own lap. I’ve been told like many of you … that geezer and I are both walking time bombs because we won’t take a cholesterol lowering drug. Geezer has been on Red Yeast Rice for months now and gets his blood work done soon. His cholesterol has been going down with that. I can’t wait to see if it’s continuing to be better. AND I got the one with CoQ10 in it because that’s good for the heart TOO…
We all know that our arteries are the blood vessels that carry our blood from our hearts to the rest of the body … and if we don’t keep those arteries kind of open … bad things could happen. We can coast along willy nilly and throw caution to the wind and possibly let our health go down hill. Or we can take just a few steps daily and very possibly see great improvement in our health. It’s all up to us!
