Adrenal Fatigue – it isn’t a mysterious illness and many folks have it and don’t even know it. Most go through life with it thinking this is just their lot in life – and they’re just extremely tired and can’t think clearly half the time because they have too much on their daily plate. They think the insomnia is from too many worries and their mind just won’t shut down. But no – those things affect us in a negative way because we have exhausted our adrenal glands and they need to be rejuvenated.
Symptoms of Adrenal Fatigue
Are you exhausted before you even get your day started?
Do you live on Coca Colas, coffee and candy to get that brief boost just to stay up off of the couch or even worse, the bed – during the day?
Do you often fall asleep without warning if you just sit down for a brief break during your busy afternoon?
Do you suffer from brain fog? Brain fog is when you just can’t think clearly and it can hit you without warning. YOU know what you want to say, for goodness sakes – it’s right there on the tip of your tongue – but what IS it? It’s gone for the moment – maybe it will pop in later when you’re trying to think of something else.
Do you have insomnia?
Does the approaching bedtime hour almost give you unwanted anxiety – because you know you will be up most of the night?
If you’re saying yes to most of those questions – you probably have adrenal exhaustion or fatigue.
Adrenal Fatigue is SO Common
It is said that 8 out of 10 people in the United States suffer from adrenal problems and that is because our lives are so rushed – so hectic – so frenzied!
We jump out of bed in the morning – already totally exhausted – with a list of chores 3 times longer than the average person could complete in one day and then we feel like such a failure when we don’t get 1/4 of it done before we stop that evening.
Adrenal problems are problems that most of the conventional doctors don’t give much credence to. But then – why would they when the solution to fixing those adrenal problems could be as simple as adding 1/2 tsp of Celtic Sea Salt to a quart of water and drinking that daily. And adding a good and easily absorbed form of Vitamin C and maybe change our diet just a tad and add some walking or rebounding daily. I mean – how beneficial would that prescription be to the bank accounts of doctors – if it was that easy.
Fixing the Adrenal Glands at Home
To turn around adrenal fatigue – we must eat a healthy diet and kind of stay on a good eating schedule.
Eat only nutritious snacks and don’t over do on those. We need to avoid foods that give quick energy – because we all know what comes after a quick energy spurt from food – right? YUP – A SLUMP!!!
The rebounder or mini trampoline is said to be one of the best exercises for anyone with adrenal fatigue. And we’ll be covering the health benefits of the rebounder very soon. IT IS PHENOMENAL in health benefits – and you don’t need the fancy expensive ones, either. The mini trampoline or rebounder that I use is available on amazon and it’s just as good as the more expensive ones – IF you don’t need the bar to hold on. But you don’t jump … you just bounce.
The main supplements for Adrenal Fatigue or exhaustion would be:
Vitamin C (1,000mg daily)
and the 1/2 tsp of pure Celtic Sea Salt in a quart of water daily.

Last week I wrote a blog on Adrenal Exhaustion. I DID THAT because I just hadn’t felt myself for the last 2-3 years and yes I KNOW I’m 69 … but I’ve always been very hyper and sharp. But the last few years – not so much at all. SO I remembered how good I would feel years ago when I’d bounce on the mini trampoline for 5 minutes a day and I had read that was for adrenal support.
SO last week I did some research on adrenal exhaustion and BINGO!!! I had all the symptoms except one and I think there were about 12 symptoms. SO last week I bought the Celtic Sea Salt and used as recommended. I also added just a PINCH here and there to our dishes and IN TWO DAYS – I could feel a difference. I can feel my brain fog clearing … my energy has perked up a LOT. IT IS AMAZING how good you can feel when you pamper your adrenal glands – and research told me that most everybody is suffering from adrenal exhaustion. That’s from stress and too many irons in the fire … you know the drill….
In just 4 days – I’m feeling like a new me…or better still – like the old me. I’m waking up feeling rested and able to go like a house afire all day long without exhaustion. I can feel my brain fog lifting and I hope it lifts all the way because that rascal was like an ELEPHANT laying down on me. Brain Fog was smothering me to death. This ALL in 4 days of using Celtic Sea Salt and I could tell a big difference in just 2 days.

Yesterday I worked 6 hours on the blog – beginning about 4am. Worked about an hour doing my dailies. Then I went to Kim’s and worked about 3 hours with her on a room she’s re-doing. Then I came home and worked a couple more hours on the blog and then another 4 hours in the yard. Cooked supper and cleaned up from that and then plopped down on the couch with Geezer … and sorry to say – but that IS the last thing I remember … lol HOWEVER – I put in a good 16 hours yesterday – moving at the speed of light and felt FANTASTIC until I set down and went into my coma … lol I DO remember Geezer saying a few times “Katy – Are you ok?” lol And I’d just mumble “Yes just tired” – But I was up and going at 4am again this morning and I feel just as hyper now as I did yesterday at high noon in high gear. I was looking for symptoms as to why I’m always exhausted despite having several hours of sleep everyday, so delighted to discover this article, the symptoms were all me, me and me. As a person depending on coffee and energy drinks just to stay energized and awake, I knew I needed some serious help. I don’t want to visit the doctors yet, so I may have to start changing my tactics and start with the nutritious snacks, also start exercising and see how it goes. 🙂

Listen Jon – just adding that Celtic Sea Salt will make all the difference in the world. I’m like you – I was exhausted 24/7 but hyper and running like a chicken with my head cut off all the time. I can’t believe how much easier it is now to juggle my schedule and I could feel that difference in clarity of thinking by the 2nd day of using the Celtic Sea Salt. I bought mine at a local health food store but you can also get it on amazon. Be sure and get the fine ground. I started out putting that 1/4 tsp of Celtic Sea Salt in water and didn’t care for that … lol SO then I added it to V8 which we drink daily anyway and that’s another blog coming in the next day or so …. any tomato product is SO SO healthy and we need at least 2 tbsps of a tomato product daily. SO by then I was on day 2 and already feeling so much better .. I just started replacing our salt with Celtic Sea Salt … but now we don’t USE much salt even normally. SO I wasn’t using even a whole tsp of that daily … Just a pinch here and a pinch there and you will feel a difference. My 1/2 lb bag of Celtic Sea Salt was $6.19 at my health food store…Let me know how it works for you…
