Are you an optimist? And do you know the ‘promise yourself creed’?
Too Far On The Sunny Side?
I’ve told you before that Kim has said so many times that I exhaust her because I run around through the day with sunshine coming out of my behind. But I’ve just always been this way. It wasn’t anything I got from anyone else in the family. I’m the only goof ball in the bunch. AND, it isn’t that I don’t worry. OH my GOODNESS I AM SUCH A WORRY WART. And I shed tears when things happen to people close to me or sometimes even just over a story on the news. And when I broke my leg … my goodness I shed a LOT of tears just for my DOG gone self. I threw some of the biggest pity parties during my 13 weeks down – that Round Knob Canyon has ever seen. But all in all … I look for the silver lining in the clouds and I pray for miracles even when things look darkest and I expect for them to happen….
I’m going to leave you with this creed this morning. Read it! Ponder it! Share it with your own friends! And let’s do all we can do to make each and every day one of the best days we’ve ever had. Let’s not worry about making this our best ‘year’. Let’s just take one day at a time and make each one of those the very best we can make them. For ourselves and for those closest to us that we love.
Peace and love from the canyon. I love you all gobs and gobs and thanks so much – for stopping by.
