Panic and Anxiety Attacks – the Search for a Natural Cure
I’ve had several wanting to know if there’s a natural remedy for Panic and Anxiety Attacks lately. It’s a troubling world right now isn’t it? Troubling times? Lots of things to feel depressed and panicky about if you allow yourself to stop and think for 2 minutes on any given day.
There are some supplements that will help to strengthen your nervous system and make it function more smoothly and hopefully…just that…will keep you from feeling so nervous and panicky. So this takes us back to something we talk about absolutely all the time…. Vitamin B Complex.
Vitamin B Complex is just absolutely crucial for the proper functioning of your entire nervous system. On the B-Complex Capsules bottle that I buy for us…it says right there on the label in big black letters “STRESS” And that’s because the B vitamins help to regulate our mood.
Deficiencies in the B vitamins can lead to anxiety and mental confusion and even a panicked feeling. A deficiency in those vitamins can lead to you just feeling so droopy you can’t hardly go. And that deficiency can even lead to depression and bad skin conditions and cracks in the corners of your mouth.
So see…Vitamin B Complex is SO SO SO important.
And the thing about it IS…when we cook our foods…we destroy most of the B vitamins that may be IN those foods…so if we’re deficient…we just almost ‘have’ to supplement…. to boost our systems back up to GO!
Studies have proven that supplementation can really decrease the feelings of anxiety and depression and just give you a natural over all feeling of well being.
Panic Attack and Anxiety Attack Home Remedies
I’d up my Vitamin B Complex to 2 a day, one morning and one at night (after a meal both times) If you’ll just do that and back off on sugar and high carb foods you should feel a little lift and brightness within 24-48 hours!
I’d also get the Vitamin B 12 sublingual … and that’s a cherry juice that you put under your tongue with a dropper. That too works wonders and works fast within 2-3 days.
And then I’d add a good combo of magnesium/calcium and zinc and take that once or twice a day.
Just doing those 3 things will work wonders for a mild nervous disorder. If that disorder is severe I’d add a little extra niacin to the mix and some niacins will give you just a funny flushed feeling for a minute – but it passes in a flash – like a hot/cold flash 🙂
If you’re still really having a problem and it’s disrupting your day…I see nothing in the world wrong with consulting your doctor and just trying something simple at first, like Xanax. Now I know they say Xanax is habit forming… but I think that depends on the person…or who you talk to about it.
Dr Patel gave me Xanax when mom was getting really close to the end of her days because I was just almost frantic and couldn’t stop crying…but wanted to be able to help daddy with mom. I continued to take that for a few weeks after mom passed…until I could get control of my emotions…but in due time…and it didn’t take too long… I realized it was time to just stop taking that little pill… So I just stopped cold turkey…no problem at all for me.
I was only taking 1/4 to 1/2 pill a day anyway…because I’m just so sensitive to almost every pill.
That’s why I got so sick with that broken leg…and ended up in the emergency room way on down the line at about week 5 or something…I was reacting to what they called a harmless med that anyone can take….Well evidently “I” can’t TAKE that…because I was sure sick and almost had to be admitted…but the doctor said if I just wanted to come on home…I could, since Geezer was here taking care of me around the clock.
Those are my tips for anxiety, depression and panic attacks… If you’re one of those having problems with the above, I hope this helps! It really is best to cure our ailments (rather than our symptoms) without using pharmaceuticals whenever possible …
