Gout is just a kind of arthritis. It occurs when uric acid builds up in blood and causes inflammation in the joints.

Gout is caused by too much Uric Acid in the body … We get too much Uric Acid “mostly” because we eat too much meat, meals that are too big and heavy and by drinking alcohol … Now Geezer drinks absolutely no alcohol – but we do love to eat.  🙂

Uloric Side Effects

I’m sure you’ve seen the commercial for Uloric for Gout and what a miracle drug it is.  But then they get to the fine print and have to tell us that some folks have had adverse reactions to this medication – like heart attacks, stroke, nausea, dizziness, high blood pressure, blah blah blah and it ended with ‘and a few people have died from an adverse reaction’!  Well yes – I’d say that’s a pretty adverse reaction when a little change in diet would do the trick.

But you can CURE that gout with Knudsen Just Juice, Black Cherry.
One glass a day – or a handful of cherries a day will do the trick.
OR 2 tsps of apple cider vinegar and 2 tsp honey in a glass of water a few times a day
or 6-8 glasses of water a day to which you have added freshly squeezed lemon.

Diet

Oranges, lemons, bell peppers (any food/drink high in Vit C) will help with your Gout because Vitamin C helps to dissolve the Uric Acid in your body that is causing the Gout.

It stands to reason if we have too much Uric Acid we just need to FLUSH that Uric Acid out of the body and any of the above will give tremendous relief. The geezer opted for the Knudsen Black Cherry Juice – because he thought it would be kind of flavorful and he now swears by it, has a 2 oz swig every morning and hasn’t had a flare up in 2 years!
