OK … FIRST the REAL recipe
3-4 whole eggs….beat with a beater about 2-3 minutes
1 cup sugar…add to eggs
3 tbsp. vanilla….add to the above
2 cans Milnot….mix in with the above
1 small carton whipping cream….add to the above
Mix all of this well and pour into your ice cream canister…then fill the rest of the way to the rim with whole milk….churn as usual in your ice cream freezer….it freezes better and quicker if you put a heavy towel over the top of the freezer while it churns….
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS ICE CREAM…sooooooooo creamy….
But if you just want a little homemade ice cream for you and your geezer tonight…you can mix it by hand really quick early in the day and put it into a Glad container with the lid and by the time you set down to watch tv…you will have ‘ice cream’…It will taste just as good…but if you let it freeze too hard in your frig freezer…you’ll have to let it thaw a little before you can eat it….Once you learn how long it takes your freezer to freeze it to the right consistency…you’ll have perfect ice cream….it takes ours about 4 hours…so this is what you do for this QUICK and EASY ice cream…..
1 can Milnot
1 small carton Whipping Cream
1/2 cup sugar
2-3 tbsp. vanilla
I don’t’ add eggs to this one…..mix all of the above in a big mixing bowl. and then
add about 1 to 2 cups of whole milk to that mixture…..mix well and pour into individual glad containers…or just pour it all into one big container….the smaller individual containers will freeze much faster…couple hours….or less
